We’re all creative beings and we can create the lives that we want. The more that we create, the more that we become of ourselves, the more that we express ourselves in the form of success and positivity. Creating Space In Your Life For Transformation
We’re going to be talking about how to create space in your life for transformation. How many of you want transformation in your life? Perhaps you are unhappy with your finances, your relationship, the way things are going with your body. Maybe you’re just unhappy with your job. Whatever it is that’s going on in your life, perhaps you’re not happy with it and you want to transformation, you want that to change for the better. I know I do. There are some areas in my life I want to change. I want transformation in my life and I am always seeking improvement, always trying to go to that next level.
Not that I’m ungrateful but I just love expressing myself. More and more I believe that is a gift to us all, to express ourselves. I believe that we’re all creative beings and we can create the lives that we want and the more that we create, the more that we become of ourselves, the more that we express ourselves in the form of success in the form of positivity, in the form of bringing good to the world. We just exemplify the power of God. We exemplify the power of the universe, the power to bring forth goodness in support life. Everything that is here has some type of person purpose of edifying, maintaining and sustaining life.
We are in that same category. I look at all of the accomplishments that the human race has accomplished and a lot of those compliments has made life easier for us. We continue to evolve as a people and as a people, we continue to produce things that makes life easier. It makes life better. Some will disagree with that say that as we advance we are destroying the world. There’s some validity to that, but I choose to look at the glass half full. I choose to look at the positive side of things and I choose to look at the goodness of things that are created. I realize that by way of the Law of Polarity, there’s good and bad to all. It has to be that way.
There’s not a front without a back, there’s not an up without a down, it’s not a good without a bad. By law there’s going to be some bad things that happen in the world and perhaps there may be some negative side effects to the things that we produce. At least the intention is good to be the best person that you can be, to help as many people as you can, and to serve as many people as you can and to focus on the good, to focus on the positive. To focus on the things that will bring forth life and life abundantly, not only to your life, but to the lives of others. That’s why I believe that transforming your life, creating a space in your life that will allow you to do just that.
Realizing that my mentor has this thing called Om Namah and it means, “It’s not about me.” I know you have desires. I know you have goals and things that you want to reach in your life and that’s why I just love to create and it’s amazing and intelligent because a lot of the things that we desire to accomplish in life, to experience a life, it causes someone else to benefit. It’s not just about you and as you become of yourself, you’re able to do more for others.
You’re able to perhaps provide a product or service for those that are entrepreneurs that is going to benefit someone else or perhaps you’re working on a job and what you do benefits others. It could be cleaning a building. It could be working and cooking food, painting, whatever it is, you’re transporting goods. Whatever it is, but when we really look at the thing it more than likely has some level of benefit to people around you and you get compensated and you get paid to do that thing.
A lot of times when we want more, we desire more, we have to become more and then it allows us to serve more people. A mentor of mine has always talked to me about the Law of Compensation. He says that the amount of money that you earn is going to be directly related to the need for what you do, your ability to do it, and the difficulty there is in replacing you. That’s a quick little tip right there, if you want to make more money, if you want to become more of yourself, find something that people need. Be good at it and then be so good and no one can replace you.
That’s the Law of Compensation. The Law of Compensation says your ability to earn money or how much money you earn is directly related to the need for what you do, your ability to do it, and the difficulty there is in replacing you. We’re talking about preparing your space for success and creating a space in your life for transformation. Often, we are unhappy with our results, but we failed to look at what we have been doing to produce those results. I know sometimes speaking in on that maybe a little bit uncomfortable, but if you know where you are and what behavior has got you there, you’re going to be more open to preparing your space for success.
We’re going to talk about the key ingredients to kick start your transformation. How many of you want to kick start your transformation? How many of you want it to happen now? Start now. I love Napoleon Hill. He said that when you come into the knowledge and the truth of what you want, start right there where you are. Begin right now in accomplishing that, focusing on that, getting your thoughts and mindset together to start accomplishing just that. We’re going to talk about the key ingredients to kick start your transformation. We’re going to talk about how to create a sacred space. What’s the word? Sacred space, where your transformation can take place. I’m going to give you some bonus information. How to give yourself an extra edge, how to set yourself up for success. That’s what we’re going to get into on the Game Changer Mentality podcast.
Key ingredients to kick start your transformation. For those of you that are ready to get in, one of the first things in my opinion in the game changer mentality is to do a self-assessment. Let’s take a look within. Let’s take a look at ourselves when it comes to your transformation, whatever you want to change your life, whatever you want to go to one level, one level to the next, it is so important that you know where you are. One of the ways that you can know where you are is to take a look at yourself.
Sometimes we want to look external. Want to look at all the things that we need to do externally, but you’ve got to look within. You’ve got to look at yourself. You’ve got to know thy self, know who you are, and one of the ways of knowing who you are in accomplishing your transformation, accomplishing your success. It’s understanding what your strengths are. Plain and simple. Understanding what your weaknesses are, understanding what is it that you want.
When you want to change, do you want to transform into a leader? Do you want to transform into a financial planner? Do you want to transform it to another job, or perhaps you want a promotion or your job? What do you want? What type of life do you want to live? Some people say, “I want to be successful, it’s going to get a promotion here,” but they’re still not happy because they’re still not making the money that they want. Maybe they’re not as educated as they want to be. They don’t have the intellect, they don’t have to circle the friends. You’ve got to get clear about what it is that you want and one of the ways to figure out, if you’re having a hard time understanding what you want, is to understand what you don’t want.
I remember when I first started with my mentor, this is one of the very first exercises and I’m like, “What is this? What is this guy doing? He wants me to write down everything I don’t like.” I want to work on what I want. What do you want? What makes you get out of bed? What brings you passion and joy and satisfaction? If you could wave a magic wand and create your life, what would that look like? Because there’s no point in transforming if we can’t transform into what we want in life. Because this is going to take some work. You’re not going to just transform overnight.
It’s going to take some conscious effort. It’s going to take some massive action. It’s going to take effort. It’s going to take dedication and commitment. If you’re going to put all that forward like if you’re saying, “I’m a champion and I’m willing to put that forward, I’m willing to sacrifice, I’m willing to commit. I’m willing to do whatever it takes in order to make this transformation happen,” you better know what it is that you transform into. You better know what it is that you want out of life and one way to realize what you want is to realize what you don’t want. What are the things you do not want in your life? When you can clearly state and get clear about what it is you don’t want, then you can recognize and refine what it is that you do want. What are your heart’s desires? You have to take a self-assessment of what you want.
Then you’ve got to get clear. A lot of people missed the boat. A lot of people don’t accomplish what they want to accomplish in life and what they want to accomplish in life. It’s because they’re not clear, so they get a fraction of what it is that they want because they were only a fraction of the way clear about what it is that they want. For example, you may say, “I want to make a lot of money. I just want to make a lot of money.” You may make more money and that money may be a lot, but it may not get you what you want. It may be something less than what you could have accomplished and it could be not exactly what it is that you want to bring you the dissatisfaction and happiness in your buttons that you truly desire. I believe that getting clear about what you want, it’s going to help you accomplish what you want.
Go after what you want, like you want to. You want to zero in on the target. You want to know exactly what the mission is. You don’t want a big idea of what it is that you’re after, not if you’re going to put this much effort for it, you want to know what it is. We’re going to talk about why that’s so important a little bit later, but you want to know how much, if it’s money that you want. What type of relationship do you want? What type of house do you want? What type of life? Do you want them to take five vacations a year? Do you want to take four vacations? Do you want to work three months and then off two and then work three? Do you want a job that’s going to give you three vacations a year? Do you want leave and be able to leave and go out? Do you want to travel out of the country? Do you want to see the world?
You’ve got to get clear. A lot of people say, “I want a good job.” There are a lot of good jobs out here. I’ve worked on a good job, but that job couldn’t get me what I truly wanted in life. I didn’t get specific about what I want and so are you. Then you’ve got to get specific about when you want that. What is the timeline around what it is that you want? If you do want to be able to travel the world and go wherever you want to go, perhaps you want to go first class or you want to go private, when? What’s your goal? What’s your timeline around it? This is all vitally important when it comes to creating a space in your life because there are things that you want to understand.
As you understand your strengths and weaknesses, desires, wants to things that you don’t want, then you can get specific about the way you want to live your life, what it is that you want to do by certain ages and in certain timelines, like specifically how you want your relationships to be, how you want your life to be. Perhaps there’s particular college you want to try. You start to understand what opportunities you need in order to accomplish that. That is so important.
I feel like we don’t accomplish what we want to accomplish sometimes because we don’t realize what it is that we need to accomplish in order to accomplish what we need to accomplish. What I mean by that, there are going to be requirements on you. You don’t just wake up overnight an automatic success. What opportunities do you need in order to accomplish this transformation? What opportunities? It could be things like a personal trainer, it could be things like certain types of education, the opportunity to experience certain things that’s going to give you the experience or the knowledge or the education that you need. It could be an opportunity to speak with certain types of people.
Which leads me to my next point, which is what do you need to learn to accomplish this transformation, to be this person? What do you need to do? What qualities do you need in order to experience this transformation? I love this because this is truly getting clear. Sometimes we’re just so quick to say, “I want to go do that. This is what I want to be.” We don’t realize what it takes to be there. I’m going to give you this one as an example. Marriages. Sometimes we say, “I want this type of person. I want a girl. She’s got to be long haired. She’s got to be smart. She’s got to have this type of body. She’s got to be able to hold this down. Make this certain amount of money. She’s got to be able to hold these types of conversations.” We have this laundry list of things that this person has to be, the characteristics.
Then we fail to realize that if that is the type of person that you want, have you thought about what type of person a person like that may want and do you fit that description? When we look at it that way, we started to realize that, “Maybe perhaps that’s why I can’t have that because I’m not like that.” If that’s the person that you want, she may not want a person that is not of the same mind as her or him. She may want someone that is of a greater mind than her. She may want someone who’s more accomplished or has a certain level of intellect, but a lot of times all we think about is what we want and not what we have to become in order to get or experience what we want.
Getting clear about those things, getting clear about what it’s going to take, who you need to become, what type of person you need to be to experience your wants and desires is vitally important. Because once you are able to understand that, once you’re able to get clear, you start to understand this is what I need to do. This is how I find those opportunities, perhaps where this person may hang out. Where you can prepare yourself to be of that same mind to get that job, to have that relationship, to be fit, if that’s a requirement. To experience the transformation in whatever is required to be that transformation.
I remember when I had a desire to be a speaker. I have a story that was a strength. I wasn’t afraid to tell the story and I wasn’t afraid to stand in front of people, but I still needed to increase my skills as a speaker. I didn’t know anything about speaking. There’s a process to being a good speaker and be engaging with the audience. It’s not just getting up there and telling your story, but it’s having a heart for people in learning enrollment. Those were things that I had to learn and then I needed those opportunities to learn that those opportunities to increase my skill, increase my learning.
Even when it came to writing books, I had to learn the skill to get in front of people and do what I do to coach people to be a resilience trainer. There are things that I had to learn in order for that process in order for that transformation to take place and I needed to understand what those things were. I needed to identify that. A lot of that was just getting clear on who I needed to know who could help me. Where do I find those types of people? Where do I need to go? What seminars I needed to attend? What type of education that I needed to get?
Before I took one step towards actually taking action towards the goal. It was getting clear on these things. Sitting down and understanding what it was that I needed to do, who I needed to be, where I needed to go, what qualities I needed in order to kick start my transformation. That’s what you have to do. You have to do that self-assessment. You want to get clear. You want to understand where you need to go. Who you need to meet the person that you need to become. The people that you need to associate with. Maybe there are associations that you need to get involved with. Things like that that’s going to facilitate your transformation because what you’re going to be doing as you transform, is creating a space where your transformation can take place.
This is so vitally important because once you have those key ingredients, now you have kick started your transformation. You have to take a look at your time. You have to take a look and discover where are the things in your life that’s not taking you towards this transformation, this destination. You want to get very clear about those things that are not taking you there and whether or not you want to keep those things in your life or you want to replace them with things that are going to get you where you want to go. That are going to allow you to make that transformation.
I remember when I got into this industry, my life completely changed. I went from having a very fair amount of free time to filling my space up with all kinds of things, evolved around writing, authorships, speaking, training, coaching, marketing, business things. I found myself not watching TV. I found myself not hanging out. I find myself not doing the things that I typically would do just to past time. Because now my space and my time was being filled up with things that we’re going to take me towards my goal. That we’re going to take me towards my dream. That was going to facilitate the transformation that I was experiencing. Sometimes, you can become so consumed with this stuff.
There are so much to do in your transformation because you had to think about all the things that are necessary in order for you to transform and you can fill up your entire schedule with things. I have and I love that because it keeps me laser, laser focus, but that’s how I was able to fill that space. That’s how I was able to create the space for what I wanted. Then there were some times what I had to have someone hold space for me. I love that holding space for me because you get to a point where you just can’t do it all and someone has to hold the space for you to go out and do what it is that that you need to do as an entrepreneur or as a person that’s going through that transformation.
That’s why I love couples when both of them are goal-driven and they are of the same mind and accord. They are focused on reaching a particular destination and they can do that together and they can hold space together for each other and support each other and create an environment that is conducive to success because they’re there for each other. They understand what the needs are, what the goals are, and it just allows and facilitates that transformation to take place. I’ll tell you it’s key that you put things in your cup that’s going to take you towards your transformation.
I love this example that I’m going to give you because a lot of times people they have good intentions. They put in their goals. They put in their dreams into the cup and they fill it up to the point that it’s running over. They go out and they try to seek the education, try to seek certain things, but there’s no integrity in the cup. They fill it up with all these things but because there’s no integrity, it leaks out. It leaks out because the structure is all wrong. The structure is not conducive to hold what it is that you’re putting into your cup.
We’re talking about creating a space in your life for transformation. If you want to be fit in your life that you could go and borrow the videos, you can buy the clothes to work out and you can actually get into the gym. If you’re not dieting properly, then you have leaks in your container? If you still consume the sugar on an excessive basis, that’s the leak. Time goes on, this leak is here and you felt like you’ve been putting it, “I’ve been going to the gym.” Then you look in the mirror and you don’t have the results that you want. The results that you want are not there. It’s not that you couldn’t do it. It’s not that your transformation couldn’t take place. It’s just that there are leaks. This happens a lot in relationships. Whereas we want certain types of relationships. We want to create a space where the relationship can flourish and it can be all that it can be.
We can be all loving and supportive and have a relationship that’s just beautiful and blissful, but we don’t take the time to spend together. There’s not enough attention. There’s not enough this or that, and there are leaks. Maybe there’s a lack of integrity in the relationship. Maybe there’s a lack of support in the relationship. I give you these examples because I don’t know where you are in your life.
I don’t know what transformation that you may be going through, but whenever we are going through the transformation, having a space where it’s safe to do the things that are necessary in order for the transformation to take place, it’s safe to love. Perhaps it’s safe to be vulnerable with one another. It’s safe to love on one another or creating a space where your physical transformation can take place. Sometimes this is setting yourself up for success, creating an environment for your transformation to take place.
It could be as simple as getting rid of the junk food in your house. If you want to lose weight. Why would you buy sugary drinks and keep them in the house? Why would you buy grease that you want to fry chicken with? Why would you buy cakes in and things like that and keep them in the house? For me, that was one of the things that I did in order to create a space of health and fitness in my own house. There were certain things that I would not buy. I wouldn’t buy those things because I wanted to set myself up for success yes. I would be home and I would think about a donut. I would think about those little devil cakes. I would think about the drinks, the sugary drinks, but it wasn’t there and even though I may have a craving for it every now and again, I couldn’t get to it. Because my environment was set up in a way where I wouldn’t trip up and I wouldn’t fall.
It was the same way with business. I would set an environment that was conducive to meet thinking the right thoughts. I would shy away from things that would cause me to jeopardize my thinking. I wouldn’t be around negative people as often. I would create a space that was conducive for learning, was conducive to reading was conducive to healing, if you will. That was a big one from, for me. There was certain music that I would listen to in order to promote healing in my body. I would take time and schedule in prayer. I would schedule in the workouts. I would schedule in the time for the significant other. I will schedule in time to study, time to do the think. I would take a look at my life and what I wanted and I didn’t want. I would try to fit in everything that I wanted.
The way I did that it was identified every place in my life where there was some activity that was not getting me closer to my goal. That was not getting me closer to my dream. I will call those things leaks and I would patch those things up. I would get rid of it and sometimes that’s what we have to do. Sometimes you have to get rid of people. You have to take a look at the people that are in your life.
Who’s in your circle? What circle are you in? I’m sure you’ve heard that people can tell your level of success, your level of achievement in life by the five closest people to you. The five people that you spend most your time with, that is indicative to the level of success that you will achieve. It’s so true. Take a look at your environment right now. Is your environment set up for you to be the fit person that you want to be? To be the healthy person that she wants to be? What’s in your refrigerator right now?
Take a look at your habits, your day to day habits. It can be something as simple as not even eating breakfast. It can be something simple as like you don’t ever take the time out to do any type of physical activity at all. It could be that you don’t spend enough time with your spouse. It could be that you haven’t told your spouse, you love him. You haven’t told them that you support you. Sometimes we get complacent and these little things that I’m talking about in our lives can cause us to drift. When we drift in, it’s like we live our lives without a purpose. We’re like a boat out at sea with no sense of direction, the rudder and it doesn’t have any steering capability to the engine a shot. It is just being tossed around by the waves and the wind and it’s just drifting. No intent at all.
What’s the intent for your life? What is the purpose for your life? What are you creating? What would you like to be? Who would you like to be? What would you like to accomplish? Is your space, your environment conducive to you being that person accomplishing that thing? Perhaps you want to save money. Are you in an environment where you can save money? Are you in an environment where you are pressured to spend money? You’re pressured to hang out? Perhaps you want to increase your knowledge base. Are you in an environment where you can increase your knowledge base? Do you have people around you that support that decision to increase your knowledge space? To start a business. To do wonderful things, to do great things.
If you really take a look at it, sometimes people that you are associated with, they have no goals. They have no dreams, they just live day to day, paycheck to paycheck it up. Go to work, they live for the weekends. Deep down inside of your heart there’s more that you want to accomplish. Perhaps you’ve even had a conversation with them about taking a risk about pursuing that goal, pursuing that dream that you have inside. Perhaps that’s an uncomfortable conversation because they don’t support that. It does not mean that it’s not doable for you. You just don’t have the level of support. You don’t have the right environment.
Environment is so important and so we have to create that environment. Something so simple as for me, fitness was such a priority. Having a disability and a learning how to walk again. I had a busy schedule and I wanted to work out. I was pretty adamant about working out. I had to create a space where I could accomplish it all. I could do to the busy things that I needed to do as well as figure out a way where I can get a workout in. One of the things that I did is I spent the money, I invested in myself with some universal weightlifting equipment. I turned my entire garage into a gym. It’s not world class or anything but it allows me to get the things that I need to get done. I was experienced some major gains and accomplishments just right there in my garage. Sometimes like starting a business, you may not have the funds to get a full-blown rental space and all of that to start your business.
Sometimes you may have to find a little corner in the corner of the kitchen and start there. If you can create that space where magic can happen, then who knows what you can accomplish. If you can get the right support around you, who knows what you can accomplish. A lot of times we feel like we don’t have the time to do what it is that we want to do in life. There are the kids, there’s the job, there are the bills. There are the extracurricular activities and all of that. I get all of that and I’m not saying that that’s not a reality, but what I’m saying is if we could change the perspective when all of that. Realizing that those things have to happen, but what’s left? Even if it’s 30 minutes, even if it’s an hour. Even if it’s 15 minutes to read a book. I’ve listened to some of the most successful people in the world and they’ve said that they spend just about 30 minutes a day reading
What if you just spent fifteen minutes half of that, you can still become an expert in a certain field. You can still accomplish something great. You have to take a look at your space, take a look at the space, and then create a space for what it is that you want. If you want it bad enough. I heard someone say, when your why or overcoming is greater than the obstacle, the obstacle ceases to exist. Maybe time is your obstacle. Maybe your why has to be greater, than the time constraint. Maybe it has to be bigger than that. Maybe that’s where you start. Maybe that’s part of your self-assessment. Maybe that’s part of your clarity. Maybe that’s part of your understanding in order to kick start your transformation in order to create a space for your transformation.
When you’re able to create that space. That’s the edge. That’s the bonus. See, when you create a space where you can create a space or an environment that’s conducive to success, that’s conducive to you being the best that you can be. Then you’re set up. If you can, you can pretty much count on high performance, high productivity. You can count on transformation because you’ve created an environment that fosters success. The thing about it is only you what you need. It could be something as simple as getting rid of all of the clutter that is in your office space.
It’s difficult for me to really think clearly when there’s a lot of clutter. Sometimes it’s getting rid of all the past stuff and making room for what it is that you want out of life. Sometimes we can’t experience the new because we’re still holding on to the old. I love springtime because I take the time to go through my closets and get rid of stuff that I don’t wear. How many of you have stuff in your closet that you don’t even wear, that you’ve been holding onto for years?
Some of us have stuff in our freezer that we’ve been holding onto years, you’re never going to eat. You haven’t eaten it in the last five years. Get rid of it. Sometimes we just have to get rid of stuff. We have to let stuff go and we have to create space for what we want to come in. Sometimes we can’t experience what we want because we’re still holding onto the things that we don’t even use. Things that we don’t even partake it. We have to have it there for sentimental reasons or whatever. You have to create space.
How many of you have ever experienced when you let go of something, perhaps you did clean out that closet and you’ve got rid of bags of clothes and bags of things and immediately what do you do? You go and replace it with something new, and you feel better. All of a sudden that need to hold on to whatever it is she was holding onto is gone. You don’t even think about it anymore because you replaced it with something new.
Sometimes you’ve got to take a look at your life and look at what are you holding onto. What is preventing something new, something better from coming into your life? It’s creating space sometimes it’s just let it go, and it’s not just a physical thing. Sometimes it is getting rid of the old couch and the old pair of jeans and the old pair of sneakers. Sometimes it is getting rid the lady on the side that you’ve been seeing for quite some time, but you want a relationship, but you can’t seem to get it because you’re still holding onto her. Sometimes it’s getting rid of the angers. Getting rid of the pain, getting rid of the things that are in your heart, in your mind and your spirit.
Sometimes we hold onto anger. Sometimes we hold onto what John said and what Sally said back in the day. Sometimes we hold onto the resentment. Sometimes we’ll hold onto the things that someone has said about us. Sometimes we hold onto broken relationships and we don’t go around. We don’t give ourselves the opportunity to experience the newness for that thing to flow on. It’s like you stop being. You stop the flow of energy. You stopped the flow of the goodness from coming in because you’re holding onto the old.
Something that happened to you years ago. Some of us are holding on to things that happened in our childhood. You haven’t gotten over that thing yet. I suggest you to take inventory of what it is in your life that’s preventing you from experiencing the true transformation, the true you. Sometimes we’re holding onto something that someone said or did to us and it’s hindering our confidence. We live timidly because of that. We’re afraid of that pain coming up again. We’re afraid of that surfacing it and re-injuring us, yet again. We have to get rid of those things. Sometimes we have to take a look deep down inside it ask ourselves, “Am I behaving because of something that happened to me? Am I behaving because of some past experience does still plaguing me? Preventing me from truly living authentically, freely and on purpose? What is that? It’s like being paralyzed. I’ve been paralyzed before, wasn’t able to move, incapacitated lack of power.”
What’s stealing your power? Get rid of it. I know sometimes it’s difficult. Perhaps it may be easy for me to sit here and say, “Get rid of it, but you deal with it how you must.” I love my dad because he always says, “This is not a trial. This life that you have is the real thing.” No one knows what happens after life. The speculation about things. What happens after we all leave here, but no one has gone before us and come back and they can tell us.
What we do know is that we are alive. We do have this life to live and we want to live this life as free as possible. We don’t want to live this life in bondage. We want to live this life as free and abundant as open to the flow of spirit and of success and in all the love and the joy that we can imagine in our lives. We don’t want anything to stop us or stopped that flow of energy. We want the space to be available and open for that goodness, that greatness, that expression of the universe, that expression of God, that expression of greatness to flow and be a part to flow through us. If we’re still holding onto things, if we’re in bonded, if we’re timid, if we’re obstructed because of our past experience obstructed by the negativity or by negative people that are doing negative things, or perhaps it’s not negative, maybe it’s not negative at all. Maybe they’re good people but they’re just not doing what it is that will allow the flow to occur in your life.
I heard Dr. Myles Munroe in the book called Understanding the Purpose And Power Of Men. He said that “It’s not always that you aren’t doing the right thing. It could be that you’re just not doing things right.” You’re doing the right thing, but you’re just not doing it right. It’s like Wallace Wattles says that, “You have to do things in a certain way in order to achieve the success that you want to achieve.” Sometimes it’s not what we’re doing, it’s how we’re doing it. Sometimes it’s not, the fact that the people are bad, it’s just that the people are not doing the right things. They’re not wrong. They’re just not doing the right things. They’re doing things, but it’s not the things that’s going to get you where you want to go in life.
You have to make a decision. What do you want in your life? There’s nothing wrong with sitting on the couch. There’s nothing wrong with eating a bag of Cheetos. You have to ask yourself, is that going to get you what you want? Is it going to take you to your goal, this specific goal that you’ve established for yourself? That comes down to the question. We have to create that environment. You want to take a deep look inside of ourselves, get understand it, didn’t discover and identify where there are things that are not taking us towards our goals and dreams. Perhaps you want to find someone that can be in your corner and hold space for you, help you take care of some of the things that need to be taken care of in order for you to pursue this transformation.
Then you want to take a look at what you’re putting into your cup. Are there any leaks in your cup? Are there leaks because of integrity? Are the leaks because of lack of support? Are there leaks because of lust? Are there leaks because of whatever reason that is not allowing you to hold and maintain the things that you are putting into your cup? It could be something as simple as you cheat on your diet. That’s why I really believe I don’t believe in diets. I believe in lifestyle. You want to create a healthy and nutritious fitness-endorsed lifestyle. Then the edge here is set yourself up and getting back to that lifestyle. Create a lifestyle where you can learn if that’s what you want to do. Create a lifestyle where you can be fit. Surround yourself with people that are supporting your transformation. This is easy. You can just find people that are about it, that are about transformation, that are tired and hungry. They’re tired of being average and they’re hungry for more.
You find those types of people. Surround yourself with those types of people and get involved in the things that they are involved with. You will find yourself changing easily and frequently. You will find yourself transforming. You will find yourself being around the information and the types of people that are conducive to your success. Last but not least, get rid of any and everything that’s holding you back. Take a look at the emotional things, spiritual things. Even the physical things, the mental things, things that you perhaps have not dealt with. Deal with those things. Talk to whomever you want to talk to. I myself am a coach and a mentor.
